Kaskade & deadmau5’s ‘Move For Me’ Turns 11 years old

Whenever you hear ‘Deadmau5’ & ‘Kaskade’ in the same sentence, you drop what you’re doing and you listen. ‘Move for Me’ was the first single these two collaborated on and was the lead single off of Kaskade’s fifth album ‘Stobelite Seduction’. The track includes the Deadmau5 and Kaskade’s atmospheric synths with the help of the seductive vocals of British singer Haley Gibby.

After release, ‘Move for Me’ crept up on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart in 2008 giving the Chicago native top spot and Deadmau5 his first number one single in America. After this release, they soon followed it up with the great ‘I Remember’ under Deadmau5 credentials, co-written by Kaskade & vocals supplied again by Gibby.

‘Move for Me’ takes us back to a time when dance music wasn’t about how big the bass was. This club centric track screams nostalgia in its true form in the EDM industry. Both artists bring this track back into their sets from time to time and it’s always a delight to your ears.

Do yourself a favour and start your weekend with this memorable track. Also, check out Kaskade’s new EP ‘Redux 003 and Deadmau5’s ‘Cube v3 tour’ .
