After three years of not releasing any music, French producer Madeon is finally back with a fresh track, after his last release ‘Shelter‘ with Porter Robinson in 2016. ‘All My Friends’ is an easy, groovy, pop/dance crossover track and as his first release of what might become an album in the following months, it is the beginning of the Good Faith Era.
‘All My Friends’ is a classic Madeon release, carrying his signature melodic synths and drum beats, but has a more poppy, commercial sound this time. Released just in time for summer, his fans are already calling it the perfect summer anthem, because of the easy vibe and catchy lyrics of the song. When it comes to the production of the song, it has many layers and presents some contrast to the funky rhythm with kinda darker, yet still hopeful and uplifting lyrics, which are sung by the producer himself, making the track even more personal.
The artist expressed on his twitter that he is really happy with the song and that this is exactly the kind of music that he hoped he would be making some day. With that being said, we can guess that the entire upcoming album will share the summer vibe that the song offers and that the releases won’t contain many electro elements, but will be more pop flavoured. We are very excited for what’s coming next and will keep a close watch on Maedon’s webpage, where he first announced the release with a cryptic message.
