What happens when the beautiful Norwegian pop-star, Julie Bergan teams up with Moroccan-Dutch music DJ/producer R3HAB? They come up with a new jam, ‘Don’t Give Up On Me Now’ that is ready to take over not only the dance charts but also the radio world.

In recent years there’s been a rapidly increasing demand for commercial music in the dance genre. This benefits producers whose aim is to find the ideal balance between dance and pop music, releasing radio hits that are still ‘festival-friendly’. One of the leading figures of this trend is Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3HAB, who appeared in the music industry in the late 00’s signing at Afrojack‘s label, Wall Recordings. A decade later he came in at number 12 in the DJ Mag Top 100 and has an impressive amount of hits and remixes under his belt, releasing something new almost every week. In a ‘Sidewalk Talk’ interview, he gave viewers an insight on what motivated him to become a DJ and how he went from carrying boxes at DHL to playing at the most prestigious music festivals around the world.

Although Julie Bergan is mostly known in the pop genre, her unique voice might sound familiar to EDM fans too, as the vocals of Alan Walker’s powerful hits ‘Ignite’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Go’ are credited to her. She has already gained fame in her home country, being nominated for the Norwegian Grammy Award ‘Spellemann’ and winning the “Breakthrough Artists of the Year’. She has recently uploaded a video on her YouTube channel, interviewing R3HAB about tour life, inspiration and much more.

Five days after releasing their collaboration, the official music video already reached almost a million views. The visuals are in perfect harmony with the soulful lyrics, complimenting the songs fantastic production. Check it out below!
