Rezz drops first single from highly-anticipated upcoming EP

Rezz has just dropped the first single of her Beyond the Senses EP; ‘Dark Age‘. The track packs everything fans could expect from a Rezz song; grit, groove and a helluva lot of distortion.

Starting off with a haunted ambience, the tracks delves into a guitar piece followed by a breakbeat which perfectly sets up the mood of the track. The buildup has minimal elements with some pitch bent risers, giving listeners an inkling of something big is coming. When the drop hits, it gives listeners the feeling of entering into another dimension.

The groovy and distorted bassline mixed with arp of sounds coming out of a toy set does more than enough to bless your ears. The saturated bass ensures that the mood is well carried over on to the break section. The transitions are smooth and the track moves from one section to another, seamlessly, like a storyline.

The EP packs some huge collaborations featuring Mau5trap‘s Eddie and new signing; Deathpact. The much anticipated 6 track EP drops on July 24.
