Tiësto delivers sublime set at EDC Las Vegas
Electric Daisy Carnival is definitely one of the festivals which raises the bar every year, and this year it’s been no different. The ongoing festival in Las Vegas, Nevada is consistently packed with breathtaking stages & lineups. This year has featured many big names such as Above & Beyond, Deadmau5 & David Guetta. One of the key veterans of EDC has been Dutch legend; Tiësto.
The Grammy-winning producer took over the Kinetic Fields Stage on Saturday and delivered an absolutely sublime set. The set was filled with some old classics, unreleased tracks & remixes. Tiësto also dropped in his remix of Avicii’s latest release ‘Tough Love‘. KSHMR & Tiësto’s timeless song ‘Secrets’ never fails to pump the crowd, evidently doing so this past weekend. He was also joined on stage by Jauz to drop some dirty bass house tunes!
However, it was unfortunate that the veteran could not complete his set, as the stage had to be evacuated due to high winds. Though, it’s not the first time EDC Las Vegas had to experience such difficulties. A similar situation happened back in the 2012 edition of the festival when the stage had to be evacuated due to high winds on day two.
Though Tiësto felt just fell short of his scheduled set time he did make most of what time he had. With the set varying from melodic to hard-hitting underground tracks, supported by aesthetic visuals and astonishing lighting, it was nothing short of an unforgettable experience for the audience!
