Tinder launches new ‘Festival mode’

Home Uncategorized Tinder launches new ‘Festival mode’

The most popular dating app Tinder is stepping up their game with a new ‘Festival mode’, that has been introduced just a few days ago. After their successful launch of the ‘Spring Break mode’, they are trying out something new, that might change your festival experience this summer. The idea for this new update crossed their mind after the activity on the app increased 300 times during Bonnaroo festival, last year. The company stated:

“No longer are your connections limited to your campsite neighbours or whose shoulders you stood on during the headliner’s performance…so put down your fringe boots and neon fanny pack because, thanks to tinder, your festival game is now stronger than ever.”

Tinder has partnered up with AEG Worldwide and Live Nation to bring you the latest feature. For now Festival mode will be available in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, at EDC Las Vegas, Hangout Music Fest, All Points East, Governors Ball, Parklife, Bonnaroo, Firefly, British Summer Time, Lovebox, Faster Horses, Hard Summer and EDC Orlando.

And how does the update work? You will be able to add a specific badge for the Festival that you will be attending and find other festival goers via app, up to three weeks before the event even happens. It will be easy and fun to chat, match and meet before the party and hopefully make the entire experience at least a little bit safer for everyone.
