It might not be the most well known country in terms of DJs, but Finland certainly has some top quality exports. The likes of Super8 & Tab, Darude, Tempo Giusto, and Above & Beyond’s Paavo Siljamäki are doing plenty of justice for the country’s trance scene, but progressive is an area in which the lack somewhat in comparison. Step forward Otto Yliperttula, more widely known as Yotto, and regarded as one of the finest producers of progressive music. The Finn has made his name predominantly through Anjunadeep, and built an impeccable following over numerous years of work. After a breaktaking set at Fabric in March, Yotto has decided to treat his loyal fanbase by uploading the 2.5 hour live set to his Soundcloud.

The 32-year-old seems to have been around for years, as his iconic sound has spread so far and wide in his career. With a packed out Fabric London crowd ready and waiting, Yotto had to – and certainly did – deliver his finest set to date. Packed with IDs, Yotto productions, and some of the biggest tracks in the progressive scene, this one had it all. With the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch & Sasha, Patrice Bäumel and more featuring in the set, plus plenty of Yotto remixes from recent months and years, the crowd were served a huge slice of progressive goodness by the Finnish DJ and producer. Kicking off with an ID, the set really got going from the off, turning up a notch around 18 minutes in when Yotto dropped ‘Mulholland 99‘. Continuing strongly, more Anjunadeep releases followed, plus Yotto’s take on Sasha’s ‘Smoke Monk‘. IDs galore, this set truly laid down a marker for upcoming progressive artists, and what they need to surpass to hit the top. Rounding out the set with James Holden’s ‘A Break In The Clouds‘ in the Cid Inc remake, the London faithful were treated on this occasion. A night to remember, Yotto truly showed his class on this one.

Check out the incredible set for yourself below, with the full tracklist here, and show Yotto some love on the mix.
