Lane 8 & Yotto – I/Y

Two of progressive house’s most creative minds have teamed up for a new track, and you just know without even listening that this one is here to stay. The melodic genius that is Lane 8 has collaborated with fellow production master Yotto to release a progressive gem oozing with blissful tones, perfect for those summer sunsets. Released on Lane 8’s ‘This Never Happened‘ label, the pair have expertly combined to provide a breath of fresh air to the scene, taking you on a musical journey with their release ‘I/Y‘, out now on all platforms.

Constant releases on Anjunadeep – including his Hyperfall album – have established Yotto’s name amongst the very best. After touring the world on the back of his eclectic compilation release, the Finnish producer has followed up the success of said album with a recent remix package for Rufus Du Sol’s ‘Underwater‘, and continues his hot streak with this new collaboration. Lane 8’s album ‘Little By Little‘ also dropped just last year, a 10-track exploration of the American producer’s sound that captivates you from start to finish, and showcases the impeccable quality possessed in each and every Lane 8 release. This collaboration crafts an expert chord line delicately laced with soothing melodic tones is a skill that few manage to emulate to the level of Lane 8 and Yotto. Their unrivalled ability to produce the finest in melodic progressive house is what sets the pair apart, though their collaborative history only stretches as far as Yotto remixing some of Lane 8’s tracks. Therefore this combination comes as a blessing upon the progressive community, and is almost 6 minutes of pure gold.
