The spectacular American EDM trio, Major Lazer, recently can't stay away from the limelight. First, they announced that their upcoming 4th album marks their last, then out of the blue one of their members, Jillionaire, waved goodbye to the group. On the positive side, they keep spoiling us with new music, and on top of that, they are currently on tour. Overwhelming right?.
Even though there’s no exact release date set for their upcoming album ‘Music is the Weapon’ yet, we have a strong feeling that with their latest drops, they are giving us a taste of what’s about to come. And we are not disappointed for sure… Last month was about “Can’t Take It From Me” featuring Skip Marley, and now – after their first successful collaboration with the extremely talented Brazilian singer and songwriter, Anitta- they have reunited to bring fire to the dance floor once again with the banger “Make It Hot”. It’s the perfect summer hit, with a blazing melody, blending reggaeton and oriental music together. Even if you don’t understand the Spanish lyrics, you immediately get into the sensual mood they managed to create with this track again.
The official music video is due to be released next week, teamed up with one of the biggest spirits company, BACARDÍ, for their new campaign ‘Pass The Beat’. Check out the 30-second teaser here! we are super excited for the full-length video coming, they will definitely “Make It Hot” for everyone! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
