Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix is having a whirlwind of a year. Having just released Summer Days with Macklemore and Patrick Stump, Martin has just announced a competition to appear in a music video for a new track. Sadly suffering a fall at a show in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, Martin was forced to cancel all upcoming shows for at least 4 weeks.
In a partnership with AXE, Martin Garrix is allowing fans to appear in a music video. In order to participate, fans are to post a picture of themselves sharing headphones with someone they like on their Instagram feed. The photos will then be judged and scored, and the top photos will win a cameo in the music video.
Meanwhile Summer Days is steadily climbing the charts, peaking at number 18 in the Spotify Global Top 50 and is close to reaching 70 million streams. It is bound to be a busy summer for Martin, with his next performances scheduled in Ibiza, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and France to name a few.
Details of how to enter the competition can be found here.
