The German-Russian DJ and producer Anton Zaslavski better known as Zedd, is probably one of the biggest faces in the Electronic Dance Music scene. With an enormous portfolio of massive record-breaking tracks and countless awards on his back, Zedd’s music represent this genre better than anyone else.

During these years, we’ve seen him produce all kind of tunes but that one track that catapulted him to the position where he’s now is without any doubt “Spectrum”. Now, with the song turning 7 years old, the megastar celebrated the special day with a tribute that he shared across all his socials.

The amazing track has the potential to make us feel melancholic, bringing us back all the good memories of the genre’s golden days by just closing our eyes. However, as emotional as it is, not everyone felt the same way about the song and the artist. Surprisingly, it was none other than Spectrum’s singer Matthew Koma, who warned about Zedd’s personality making a rough description of him and how it’s like to work with him, destroying any good preconception anyone could have on Zedd and the majestic collaboration.

Koma commented on Instagram “It’s a really sad truth because I’m extremely proud of the work he and I did together… unfortunately my good feelings toward those songs have all but disappeared as they were experienced alongside someone so toxic and self serving that it occupied the space where any happiness could exist.” before concluding with some forceful words “Now, he has plenty of people to write his songs and produce his tracks and help him continue on his trajectory. But I rather work at Starbucks and clean the toilets than ever experience that abusive dynamic again.”

This is not the first time the pair got into a verbal confrontation. Last year, during the Twitter beef between Diplo and Zedd, the singer already got involved leaving some revelatory comments that left more than one wondering what really happened between them.

If that wasn’t enough, Zedd’s long term friend, the famous dance artists’ photographer Rukes went on commenting the post feeding the rumours and increasing the hype saying he also has his own story that he might reveal one day. Rukes toured with Zedd for many years before splitting up in mid 2018.

Even though it’s obvious something more happened between all of them, it’s also highly improbable that we get to know the full true story. However, what we do know is that Zedd won’t remain quiet, so we’ll see what he has to say on this new controversial chapter.
