Early Swedish House Mafia & Laidback Luke anthem ‘Get Dumb’ turns 12 years old

Back before SHM was, well… ‘SHM’, the Swedish House Mafia trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso would regularly team up in the studio with their good friend and fellow producer Laidback Luke. A true legend of the dance industry, Luke was responsible for discovering a young Tim Bergling (aka Avicii) and has since gone on to make a huge mark on the genre thanks to his timeless records and very own Mixmash label.

But back on this day in 2007, all four hit the studio to work on ‘Get Dumb‘, a whopping electro anthem which still sounds as fresh as ever here in 2019! It was not to be the last time that SHM worked with Luke, as all four put their brains together shortly after to bring us ‘Leave The World Behind‘ whilst Steve Angello also roped Luke in for his EDM classic ‘Show Me Love’.
