Ultra Music Festival is having a rough 2019. First, they moved out of their beloved location in Bayfront Park, to Virginia Key, for their Miami edition and subsequently canceled their contract with the City of Miami due to not being able to provide the same great festival experience. Ultra Korea also needed to move to AMG Speedway and suffered a last minute cancellation from the main headliner, Swedish House Mafia. With 2 weeks to go, now Ultra Europe in Split, Croatia is moving to a new location as well, Park Mladeži (Youth Park) in Split.

Held in Stadion Poljud since its inauguration in 2013, The Total Croatian News is reporting that Ultra is confirmed to be held in their new location for the next 4 years due to complications with Hajduk Split, the local soccer club. A major point in the discussion was the destruction of the field in the stadium, which was also not replaced in time after last years edition. Hajduk was looking to have Ultra cover all the costs incurred by the soccer club.

Ultra Europe is returning for its 6th edition in Split and is scheduled to be held on July 12th until July 14th and is set to be headlined by Swedish House Mafia, along with other big names like Above & Beyond, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Armin van Buuren and many more.

More information is supposed to be released on Thursday and no official announcement or statement from Ultra has been made at the time of writing.
