Avicii posthumous album ‘TIM’, released on June 6th, has been one of the most talked out of the year and widespread admired for both fans and the industry. The successes around it keep coming, and this week his track ‘Heaven’,  which contains uncredited vocals from co-writer Chris Martin of Coldplay, has reached the No.1position in the Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. This is Tim’s Bergling 3rd N.1, (two of them posthumous) after ‘SOS’ featuring Aloe Blaac reached No. 1 in June 1, and “Wake Me Up!” stayed 10 weeks at No. 1 in 2013.

Tim Bergling keeps uniting people around his music even after his passing. The album ‘TIM’ contains unreleased music from Bergling, since his unexpected death in April last year, age 28. Some of the tracks were already completed by the artist, and others were finished by a trio of production teams with whom he’d been making the new songs, based on specific notes he left prior to his passing.

The tracklist of the album,  includes collaborations with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who previously worked with Avicii on ‘A Sky Full of Stars‘, Aloe Blacc, the vocalist of ‘Wake Me Up‘, Imagine Dragons, Bonn and Vargas & Lagola among others.

The tributes to Avicii’s memory, keep coming from everywhere in the industry. This year’s mainstage at Tomorrowland (based around the theme of books) had included is a giant books which in bright gold lettering reading: “In loving memory of Tim Bergling”. The word ‘Forever’ is also visible to the left of the tribute on the same book, probably referring to the legacy of timeless music Avicii was able to leave behind thanks to his immense talent in the studio.
