Boris Brejcha – Gravity (feat. Laura Korinth)
Boris Brejcha, the 37-year old DJ and producer from Germany, is definitely one of the fastest-growing techno artists at the moment. He has been selling out shows all around the world and conquering some of the biggest venues with his signature “Hi-Tech Minimal” sound. Earlier this week Boris Brejcha released a new collaboration titled Gravity with Berlin-based singer and songwriter, Laura Korinth on Ultra Music.
‘Gravity’ nicely combines minimal, IDM, electro, and techno, just like most of his work. The original mix is set to be more than 9 minutes long, but for now, the only version that was released is the much shorter radio edit.
It starts out with thumping bass, combined with the uplifting drums and classical piano elements. It is very powerful, but also mysterious, building up the excitement up until the soft Laura’s vocals cut through the silence, followed up with a really melodic break and a piano solo. Not long after, the energy starts to rise again and a calm, positive “drop” follows, featuring the pounding bass and drums, concluding the song in an exceptional, mystical vibe.
It’s no secret that Boris Brejcha is an exceptionally talented DJ and producer, Gravity is definitely another masterpiece and we are loving it. You can check out where you can catch him this festival season here.
