Cristoph, Newcastle based DJ and producer, is returning to Eric Prydz‘ Pryda Presents with the follow up single to the 2018 global dance music hitBreathe, that he made in collaboration with the British duo Camelphat. ‘Slowly Burning’ is featuring the vocals of Jem Cooke and the aritsis signature emotive, house sound, fit for both club and the radio.

Cristoph is one of dance music’s most in demand artists at the moment, with releases on labels like Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Yousef‘s Circus Recordings and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound. After catching the attention of Eric Prydz, a number of key releases on Pryda Presents followed including ‘EPOCH’, ‘Voice Of Silence’ and the biggest hit ‘Breathe’, the artist also got a chance to hold a residency at Hï Ibiza, alongside Prydz himself, last summer.

‘Slowly Burning’ is a groovy house track, which starts out slow, with consistent bass and drums, but gets more and more energetic as the emotional vocals roll in. The raw sounds combined with a melodic beat give the song a mysterious flavour, which gets darker with the vocals. Overall the song doesn’t have a “drop”, but is very powerful on its on and makes you want to dance and gets you addicted to it with its catchy lyrics.

Cristoph’s latest release is definitely set to be yet another club anthem and an unmissable part of the DJ sets at the upcoming summer festivals. With a busy international touring schedule and more releases to come, 2019 is looking out to be another successful year for the artist. Don’t forget to check him out on his social media (Twitter, Soundcloud, Facebook) and stream ‘Slowly Burning’ below:
