Diplo enveils Major Lazer x Beyoncé collab ‘Already’

Diplo, who never seems to stop working and is always experimenting with on another project, has fans engaging in constant speculation about a collaboration. Diplo recently tweeted about a collaboration with Beyonce, Major Lazer titled “Already”. With also teasing his probable collab with Skrillex for Jack U moniker Diplo has once again delighted his fanbase with the announcement.

With a new album on the way for Major Lazer, major features are expected to appear on the album. But the tease paid off only two days later, on the day of the theatrical release of the long-awaited remake of The Lion King. The musical album for the film titled, The Lion King: The Gift, shows Major Lazer and Shatta Wale along with Beyonce featured on a track called “Already“.

Major Lazer has never hidden how African music and sounds have influenced them. That influence can be heard in the track ‘Already.’ The addition of Shatta Wale, Ghanaian-born producer, and reggae-dancehall musician, who has produced plenty of dancehall bangers, shows how the artists wanted to reflect that sound in the track.

The album also includes other major names like Jay-z, Pharrel, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino to name a few. With an album filled with this many artists, it’s sure to be a real treat for all listeners.
