Home Uncategorized DJ Snake announces release date for sophomore album ‘Carte Blanche’

It’s no secret that DJ Snake has been on fire this year, dropping multiple ground-breaking hits and headlining major events globally. In fact, this weekend he’s heading to Tomorrowland to close the Mainstage on the festival’s Saturday night. Now the latest piece of news has arrived. Following a heavy-hitting Ultra Europe set, DJ Snake has just announced his sophomore album, Carte Blanche. Out on July 26th, this is definitely one to listen to this summer. Keeping fans at bay with unreleased tracks over the last year, he has now announced the follow up to his debut album, ‘Encore‘.

What is Carte Blanche exactly?

Carte Blanche is the complete freedom to act as one wishes. The album title truly justifies the Frenchman’s lifestyle and him enjoying complete freedom is a true indicator of how great we can expect his 2nd album to be.

Teasing fans on social media yesterday by hinting that a big announcement was coming tomorrow, DJ Snake has just announced the release date and album artwork for Carte Blanche. Last month a reddit user posted a supposed tracklist for the album, which is expected to be featuring the likes of ZomboyGASHIZHUBryson Tiller and many more. The tracklist features a collaboration from the ‘Pardon My French’ team, TchamiMalaa, and Mercer.

Carte Blanche also features ‘Try Me‘, the Cardi B and Selena Gomez assisted hit, ‘Taki Taki‘ and ‘Loco‘. The album is heading to be a summer blockbuster, so it is definitely one to check out. ‘Carte Blanche‘ is to be released on 26th July via Geffen Records, nearly 3 years to the day since ‘Encore’ was released.
