Home Uncategorized Eric Prydz delivers rare largely PRYDA set at Tomorrowland Weekend 2

Tomorrowland 2019 has ended and the enormous 15th-anniversary celebration has come to an end. Unfortunately, the roof of one of the stages, the Freedom Stage, where Eric Prydz was set to perform his EPIC 6.0 HOLOSPHERE show, collapsed shortly before Weekend 2 started which resulted in Tomorrowland cancelling the breathtaking performance Prydz had delivered the week before. Instead, the Freedom stage has been repurposed to an outdoor stage and Prydz was still able to perform and close the stage on Friday. He was announced to play as Eric Prydz, but instead, he delivered an incredible and rare heavily Pryda set, digging deep into the PRYDA vault selecting some of the best productions.

Starting with ‘Liam’, released under Eric Prydz, followed by Tonja Holma‘s ‘Spanish Delight’, also one of his alter egos, and continuing with ‘Reeperbahn’ released under his Pryda alias. As you would expect from him, he played some more ID’s which are yet to be released, possibly on PRYDA 15 Vol. II this Friday, in the middle of his set, like ‘Epic Radio 004 ID 01’, ‘Factory 93 LA ID’, ‘Echostage 2019 ID 02’ and ‘HOLO London 2019 ID 02’, followed by his incredible private edit of ‘Pjanoo’. He closed his set with ‘Opus’, which has also been performed by the Symphony of Unity on both weekends, making it a perfect ending for the first day of Tomorrowland.

For sure this was a once in a lifetime experience for fans who were able to witness his set, even without his special Tomorrowland HOLOSPHERE show. Unfortunately there’s no recording available at this time but you can check out the full setlist on 1001tracklists.com.
