Maceo Plex teases studio masterclass for upcoming producers

For many DJs and producers of electronic music, there is nothing as rewarding as commanding larger dance floors around the world or launching a track for a new label, or even teaching the next generation. There are several artists who use online platforms to teach new producers or enthusiasts how to create a track and now Maceo Plex is one of the latest DJ’s to jump on board.

While Armin van Buuren and Deadmau5 have used the Masterclass platform, KSHMR recently announced his Dharma Worldwide platform, however, Maceo goes a little further. It will not be online classes that will be part of this new venture, Maceo intends to go beyond and open the doors of his own studio in Barcelona to young producers.

Still, without many details, the artist who is a prominent figure in world techno and who recently took up one of his projects, Mariel Ito, posted on his Twitter about his intentions:

“Might be putting a ton of my gear into a studio for aspiring new producers to use and be inspired. In BCN more details later on“. Of course, the news has already caused some uproar among its followers and created expectations among those who dream of a successful career.
