Rage Against The Machine – Killing In The Name Of (Gemellini Private Remix)

Dynamic Australian duo Gemellini are back with a brand-new floor filler! Taking on Rage Against The Machine’s cult-classic hit-single, ‘Killing In The Name Of’, the Sydney-based brotherly-duo have once again displayed their versatile production abilities.

From the get-go, Gemellini’s remix hits hard, boasting brooding basslines and a pumping kick drum, before the iconic opening guitar riff enters the mix. Chopping up the lead guitar melody & meshing it with the pounding lead stabs & bassline, the duo incorporates a healthy blend of the original track and their own production, as they seamlessly blend the two without relying on the use of heavy FX, instead, making excellent use of white noise to fill out the frequency spectrum and add to the track’s high energy.

Despite its excellent production, their latest remix is just a slither of Gemellini’s body of work. The brothers made their presence known last year when they appeared on Kryder’s God Save The Groove boat-party, as well as appearing at Pete Dash‘s ‘Back To Jack’s House & Friends‘ party. In addition to this, Gemellini are also no strangers to Sydney’s Marquee Nightclub, where they hold a residency. They’ve also supported the likes of Laidback Luke, Dave Winnel, Bassjackers & Croatia Squad, just to name a few.
