After being off the grid for a while, it seems that Skrillex is back in full force, and the industry has welcomed him back with the same open arms that supported the breakthrough of his career all those years ago. With new tracks including a Dog Blood EP, a collaboration with TroyBoi and even more remixes, fans of the powerhouse producer are being well and truly treated to make up for his absence. New tracks aren’t all that he has to offer though. Surprise appearances have been a regular occurrence recently with an Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) set announced only on the day during the 2019 edition of the crazy three-day festival and even a surprise set at the first edition of Porter Robinson owned Second Sky festival on the Sunday. Now, Skrillex has announced his latest show.

Being a regular at Burning Man, he has taken it upon himself to raise money for an art installation called ‘Head Maze’ which will be featured at the next event and this isn’t the first time he’s donated directly to the event either, donating a performance back in 2016 to fund the ‘Space Whale’. Hosting the intimate fundraiser in Reno, Nevada (near where Burning Man is held), the event will be taking place next week on Saturday July 20 at Cargo Concert Hall. Tickets are available through Fresh Bakin’ or at the Whitney Peak Hotel and are priced at $44.95.

The installation itself has a heavy focus on the struggles of mental health and is said to be 40-foot tall and features doors in the head, mouth and wrist of the sculpture that lead to three stories of 18-room mazes.
