Swedish House Mafia cancel their Weekend Festival show

It seems that things are not going very well with one of the biggest trios of electronic music. After a big show at Ultra Europe at Croatia, Swedish House Mafia canceled Weekend Festival show of their must-desired tour, this time in Finland. Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso were the long-awaited headliners of the Weekend Festival, which takes place this weekend, July 19 and 20, in Sulivahti, Helsinki.

Without much detail, the announcement came via the Instagram of the Swedish House Mafia and was shared by the Weekend festival: “We are really sorry we can not make the show tomorrow night! We have production issues that can not be fixed with such short notice Hopefully we’ll be able to postpone the show to another date. Love, SHM“. In addition to the Swedish trio, names like Armin van Buuren, Alan Walker, and Afrojack are confirmed to the festival.

To fill the unexpected cancellation, the Weekend Festival made some changes to their lineup, transferring Afrojack to the main stage and recruiting another great Swedish artist, Alesso. Remember that this is not the first cancellation that the Swedish House Mafia makes the evening of an event.
