Many artists come and go as the electronic music scene is very dynamic. New names come as many others fall by the wayside, but some names are so important and have such a great legacy that they are always in the spotlight and surely Armin van Buuren is one of those artists. Owner of a completely mutable identity, whether it’s Armin, Gaia or older projects like Rising Star, the man in charge of the Armada is one of the most respected DJs and producers in the entire electronic scene.

For another consecutive year, Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren took to Tomorrowland, one of the largest and most desired electronic music festivals in the world, your label A State of Trance on Sunday, July 20th, signing the Freedom Stage. Responsible for one of the sets of the night, Armin showed that he can adapt to different types of audiences and presented a set more focused on his roots, after all, he was performing at ASOT Stage. Even after the stage changed due to a problem with his roof one day before Tomorrowland’s second weekend, the crowd filled the space reserved for Armin and his team and witnessed another big performance by the Dutchman.

Showing his great experience and knowledge, Armin led the crowded the dancefloor through an incredible journey through hits. ‘Show Me Love‘, his collab with the Above & Beyond trio echoed in the early minutes of the show and set the pace for what was to come. Purple Haze and Aly & Fila were also played, as well as more classic names, among them the alter ego Rising Star and his new new track ‘Cosmos‘, Andrew Rayel, Chris Schweizer and Gaia, to name a few. RAM‘s ‘RAMsterdam‘ got the crownd in complete sync, followed by the classic ‘Communication‘. The Chemical Brothers was also reminding, with a beautiful remix of ‘Do It Again‘ and to finish, a super mashup of ‘Symmetric Vs. T.O.T. vs. Man On The Moon Vs. Shivers‘.
