Creamfields 2019: ones to watch

Home Uncategorized Creamfields 2019: ones to watch

Since it’s start-up in 1998, Creamfields has established itself as the best and most in-demand EDM festival in the United Kingdom. Pulling massive crowds every year with world class lineups that cover a vast variety of sub-genres to please everyone, the festival proves time and time again why it is hailed as the very best that the UK has to offer. With the 2019 edition of Creamfields Festival fast approaching, we thought we would share a handy guide on the artists to watch this year.

Thursday

Magnificence – Axtone

Duo Magnificence – consisting of Maurice van der Molen and Robin Klaver – have caused a huge storm in the industry for all the right reasons. Their track ‘Out Of My Mind’ was the most watched and anticipated ID from the Swedish House Mafia Ultra Miami reunion set in 2018 and they’ve gained massive support from Nicky Romero, Martin Garrix and W&W to name just a few. If those names are anything to go by, these two talented artists are going to put on an unmissable performance at Creamfields 2019!

Matt Nash – Cream

The UK’s very own Matt Nash has proved himself to be one of the fast risers in the industry and his tracks tell us exactly why. Collaborating with no other than superstar Don Diablo on huge 2013 track ‘Starlight (Could You Be Mine)’ and releasing multiple times on Don Diablo owned record label Hexagon, Nash has earned his spot at Creamfields festival 2019 and isn’t one to miss.

Tom Staar – Axtone

Powerhouse Tom Staar, much like his last name, is truly a star. Roping in huge collaborators such as David Guetta, he has earned the respect of many huge names and has played on stages at festivals such as Tomorrowland – and even exclusive We Rave You events – and now festival-goers at Creamfields can be lucky enough to witness his talents in person.

Friday

Holy Goof – Generator presents STMPD

With a huge outbreak of fame and popularity especially in the last year, UK based Holy Goof hasn’t just gained a loyal fanbase but has started a movement. Becoming the face of Bassline, the once anonymous producer has shown that no matter where he plays, from America to Europe to Asia and everywhere in between, he can dominate the stage expertly and covert people into becoming his fan with dirty beats and massive energy. Although this isn’t his first time at Creamfields, his sets get better every single year and he always brings something new for crowds to enjoy.

Solardo – Steel Yard

Calling all house fans, we have a perfect duo in the form of Manchester-born duo Solardo. Mark Richards & James Eliot have been working hard to secure their spotlight in the public eye and are ready to take on the infamous Steel Yard arena at this years Creamfields before the legend Eric Prydz. With their own label Sola and many sold-out shows under their belt, they are sure to blow the roof off the Steel Yard.

Dyro – Generator presents STMPD

Accompanying Holy Goof (among many others) on the STMPD stage is Dutch producer Dyro. In addition to releasing on Garrix’s imprint, Dyro has the backings of labels such as Revealed Recordings, Musical Freedom and Spinnin’ Records to name just a few out of a long list. His unique and interesting sound is what helps to capture audiences and sell-out shows all around the world and now he is ready to wow the Creamfields 2019 crowd with his talent.

Saturday

i_o – Generator: SEVEN20 x Mau5trap

If you’re a huge techno fan or just someone who is looking to explore the deep, dark, underworld of the genre then i_o is the act for you. Hailing his influences as Above & Beyond, deadmau5 and Amelie Lens to name a few, i_o tracks can range from unforgivably dark and hard to softer and lighter, showing off his influences proudly and hitting multiple target audiences. Creamfields attendees who plan on witnessing i_o’s set can expect to lose themselves in the tantalizing beats that pump through the speakers of the Generator stage.

Maurice West – Inferno

Firecracker. That’s one word that comes to mind when describing Maurice West and his unbelievable energy that shines through in his tracks. Being named as an extremely promising act in the scene, this has lead him to most recently collaborating with W&W on the largely anticipated ‘Matrix’ and he hasn’t taken a break from wowing the industry and large crowds at headline shows all across the world. This international superstar is definitely one to check out at Creamfields 2019.

Ilan Bluestone – Anjunabeats

Regarded as a pioneer of the international music scene with expert knowledge in the genres of trance and progressive house, Ilan Bluestone is a staple act in the Anjunabeats family and has traveled all over the world performing at multiple Group Therapy events for Above & Beyond alongside spectacular headlining shows. Since his debut solo release in 2012, Ilan Bluestone has rightfully earned the title as a world-class producer.

Sunday

Darren Styles – Keeping The Rave Alive

At the forefront of the UK hardcore scene, Darren Styles found success in his career back in the 1990’s but it wasn’t until 2002 where his solo career took full shape. As of now, sold-out shows are more common than anything to this fireball of talent and energy and world-renowned festivals have become a second home to him. With countless awards attached to his name, he is someone who has to be seen to truly understand the full force of what he delivers with his sets.

Cristoph – Steel Yard

It’s hard to believe that Cristoph only started making music in 2013. Rising staggeringly quickly in the scene, Eric Prydz seemingly took him under his wing and even became the first artist to present his own mix on the EPIC Radio show. On top of this, he was also partly responsible for the huge collaborative track ‘Breathe’ with Camelphat and many progressive icons have taken a liking to this young star. With all that in mind, his performance is sure to blow the roof off the Steel Yard.

Carta – Horizon

This young up-and-comer is someone to get extremely excited about. Establishing himself as the front runner for EDM talent in China, Carta is smashing into the worldwide scene with fresh beats and endless talent. Spending time in the UK to perfect and shape his sound makes Creamfields the perfect place to host this young talent and he is sure to set the tone for the massive Horizon stage for the rest of the day.

This list is just a few selections of the acts we think are going to absolutely rock 2019 edition of Creamfields festival! Check out the rest of the lineup here and tell us who you’re excited to see!
