Relive Magnificence’s incredible Tomorrowland Set

Dutch duo, Robin Klaver and Maurice van der Molen, aka Magnificence, have taken the dance world by storm and continue to impress with their music production and brand new releases. The release of their last EP “II” was received well by major artists all over the world and further cemented their position as one of the most prominent duos in the industry. In fact, the tracks were played during many main stage performances. In a recent interview, the duo stated that there would be plenty of special edits and new tracks premiered during their highly-anticipated Tomorrowland set. Magnificence promised and fully-delivered on that statement.

The duo performed at Tomorrowland’s Axtone stage and created mayhem with a high-energy performance, packed-out with floor-shaking hits. They told fans that the set would include plenty of their own tracks, and it certainly did. Their energy is full, vibrant and can be felt throughout the set.

Opening their set with ‘Lights’, the first track from their ‘II’ EP, the duo immediately provoked a huge reaction from the crowd. Effortlessly weaving their way through their own discography, Magnificence dropped fan-favourites including ‘Closer‘, ‘Cobra‘, ‘Remember‘, ‘Control‘ and ‘Fire‘. Many of their own tracks were effortlessly intertwined with iconic hits from other artists, as they created an incredible energy through stellar mashups. The fact that such a vast proportion of their set revolved around their own releases serves as a testament to their prowess in production.

Magnificence also played plenty of new music, debuting multiple brand new IDs during their live set. These included reported collaborations with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, 7 Skies and Deniz Koyu.The duo played their remixes of ‘Switch‘ by Afrojack and Jewelz & Sparks, ‘Happy Now‘ by Zedd & Elley Duhé. They even included mashups from Swedish House Mafia and flowed through genres seamlessly with tracks from Adam Beyer, TV Noise, Steve Angello and Laidback Luke. As expected the crowd was responsive to every buildup and drop that was played. Check out their full tracklist here.
