Skrillex launches new music production school in South Africa
Skrillex has once again grabbed eyeballs all across the globe but this time not for his breathtaking music but for his exceptional work in the industry. Skrillex announced the opening of a new production school with Bridges for Music organization in South Africa which has been in works for about 7 years.
Skrillex and his label OWSLA partnered up with bridges for music located in South Africa back in 2012. From its inception, the team has organized various events, meet and greets, giveaways as a means of fundraising for the organization. Skrillex even donated music equipment to the organization in 2015. Now that the music production school is about to open Skrillex shared of how much this means to him on his socials. He quoted
“In 2012 we started building a music production school Langa South Africa with @bridgesformusic. its 2019 now and the dream is alive.”
Skrillex is at the peak of his career at the moment thanks to the immense hard work and dedication he has put into throughout the years. Coming back from a short break Skrillex is fresh and better than ever before he has been. The Grammy-winning maestro recently released ‘Malokera’, which comes in the form of a mega collaboration with TroyBoi, MC Lan, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ludmilla is officially out now.
