Ultra Australia set to return in 2020
Worldwide festival giant Ultra Music Festival is bringing Ultra back down under for another exciting edition! Ultra Australia will celebrate its second event in 2020, after hosting its inaugural full-fledged edition earlier this year. Melbourne also played host to the first Ultra even on Australian shores, when an instalment of ‘Road To Ultra’ took place back in February of 2018.
Next year’s festival will kick off on the 7th of March in Sydney, at Parramatta Park, and will close out in Melbourne (during the Melbourne Labour Day Weekend) on the following day at the prestigious Flemington Racecourse. While the festival has already opened ticket registrations, a lineup has not yet been announced. Organisers are expecting a grand turnout, with more than 50,000 attendees expected to walk through the turnstiles across the two days.
Australian electronic music fans were treated to a wealth of musical talent in February this year, where the likes of Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello & Illenium headlined the mainstage. Ultra also brought the Resistance stage with them, billing Adam Beyer, Dubfire & Nicole Moudaber & Joris Voorn as the features of the esteemed Techno stage.
