A State of Trance Festival returns to Utrecht in February 2020
On his Road To 1000, Armin van Buuren has revealed the date for A State of Trance Festival to celebrate 950 episodes of his iconic radio show, hosted by himself and Ruben de Ronde every Thursday. After a record-breaking edition with 35,000 attendees from all over the world in February this year, including performances from Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate and Vini Vici and many more, A State of Trance Festival returns to the Jaarbeus convention center in Utrecht, The Netherlands on February 15th, 2020.
Celebrations will start with a pre-party in Amsterdam on February 14th followed by the main event in Utrecht the day after. Next year’s edition will include a special opening show by Armin himself which will be exclusive to Early Bird ticket holders. And, for the first time, fans will be able to purchase a Weekend Experience ticket that will include admission to the pre-party as well as the festival itself for the full ASOT experience. The theme for ASOT 950 has yet to be announced, but this should follow soon as more announcements, including the lineup, will be made closer to the date.
Tickets for ASOT 950 will go on sale next week, September 12th, 2019. Only subscribers that register between September 5th and 12th will get access to discounted Early Bird and Weekend Experience tickets. In addition to the ticket types mentioned already, Travel & Hotel packages will be offered for those that want an even bigger ASOT experience and those who are traveling from afar to the biggest Trance festival in the world. Tickets sold out 6 weeks in advance for this year’s edition, the fastest ever for the festival, and tickets are expected to fly, so register and get in as soon as they’re available on the festival’s website.
