Behind every great artist is a great manager, and Moe Shalizi is one of the best in the game. Known for managing masked mogul Marshmello along with Slushii, Ookay, Jauz and a whole bunch more, he worked and built his career – which landed him a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 Music Class of 2019 list – under the umbrella of Red Light Management until he decided it was time to part ways on good terms with the management company and start his own. Named The Shalizi Group, he took all of his employees and artists with him to start up the Los Angeles based company and this is only the start for the talented manager.
In an Instagram post, sandwiched in the middle of impressive car pictures and posts chronicling his artists achievements, Moe Shalizi announced that a new act would be joining The Shalizi Group roster and it’s none other than Swedish sensation Alesso. Separating paths with previous entertainment company Shots (who signed Alesso back in 2017), this is a huge move for Moe Shalizi and something that will propel his career to new heights. Just by looking at what Moe Shalizi has built, its safe to say that Alesso is in extremely good hands and we can’t wait for what the two will get up to together.
Alesso’s first single under the management of The Shalizi Group ‘In The Middle’, with SUMR CAMP, will be out Friday 6 September.
