Armin van Buuren has finally revealed the title and exact release date of his upcoming album. The news followed an emphatic performance at Electric Zoo in New York City in which he announced its imminent release and previewed a stunning ID directly from it.
Due for release next month on October 25th, “Balance” is to be his seventh studio album in a career lasting over 20 years. It comes as a huge relief for trance fans as hints were made towards a major AvB project as long ago as the Miami Music Conference back in March.
‘Balance’ is a new chapter in my book of life, the result of venturing into known and unknown territories while finding the balance in between.
The five-time world #1 DJ plans to reveal the album piece by piece; treating fans to an exclusive track from “Balance” each week during his A State Of Trance podcast.
The release of the full project will be a fantastic way for the Dutchman to approach the end of a very busy year in which he has released more than 10 singles as well as a collaborative album “Moons of Jupiter” with Benno de Goeij under their Gaia alias.
Keep your eyes on We Rave You over the next few weeks as we intend to bring you more information on the new Armin van Buuren album as we get it. In the meantime, as we wait rather impatiently, be sure to check out the sublime “Balance” ID he dropped in his Electric Zoo set here!
