Synth pop singer I Am Boleyn is one of the most unique artists that you may not have heard of yet. Her fresh take on electro-pop is fuelled by the vibe of the 80s with a tinge of futurism, blending old with modern for a completely new sound that is rimmed with feelings of nostalgia and summery vibes. Writing songs ever since she was young, I Am Boleyn grew up in St Petersburg, Russia and now divides her time between London and Stockholm – working with Swedish based production company FMLY STHLM – to work on new releases constantly. Her sound is inspired by the likes of RobynMo and Goldfrapp to name a few. For her latest release ‘Too Much’ she has teamed up with another talented artist. F9, who’s real name is James Wiltshire, is always working with some of the UK’s most famed and loved artists and has provided stunning remixes for the likes of Alphabet, Molly Hammar and Will Young. He also helps to keeps the producer community alive by supplying them with instrumentals and sounds.

Together, I Am Boleyn and F9 have crafted up a masterpiece with ‘Too Much’. Providing perfect summer vibes that will transport you straight back to the festival season (or make you wish 2020’s festival season would come even sooner), I Am Boleyn’s vocals shine bright against the special sounds expertly provided by F9. If any track does a job of showcasing the very best of their talents then it is definitely this one. ‘Too Much’ is a perfect example of what magic can be summoned up when a talented producer and a talented vocalist join forces.
