Illenium’s ‘Ascend’ album reaches number one on billboard dance chart

Illenium has been working hard for a good few years now. Maintaining the releasing of albums and collaborations while touring can’t have been easy. All of the hard work is paying off now. Ascend, which is the third album from Illenium is currently a top the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic album chart.

The album has had to battle tough competition from Marshmello and DJ Snake, but it is a well earned victory for Illenium here. Ascend has only been out for two weeks and it is already competing with some big names.

The album captured everything we love about Illenium, whilst also showcasing some incredible collaborations. Many of these hit the top 10 on the electronic charts. Illenium has managed to keep to his melodic bass style on his new album, whilst adding in a small hit of pop style which fans seem to love. Illenium is a force to be reckoned with and you can catch him on the Ascend tour this Autumn.
