Swedish superstar KAAZE is back with a brand new single, teaming up with Nino Lucarelli to deliver ‘Chain Me Up’. Switching things up, KAAZE flaunts his musical expertise and eclectic influences, as the downtempo ballad is set to feature on his debut album; ‘Dreamchild’.
The track opens up with a tantalizing guitar riff and soon combines with Lucarelli’s vocals, which bring energy and help the track ascend gracefully. Soon, choir vocals and orchestral drums enter the mix, creating an exciting & tense atmosphere, luring the listener in until the beautiful strings and electric guitar team up with Lucarelli’s powerful voice to create a mesmerising chorus. A far cry away from some earlier works such as his ‘ShowKAAZE’ EPs and ‘Triplet’, the skilful Swede displays his brilliant, comprehensive music production expertise in his latest single – a testament to his artistic abilities.
Citing Aerosmith and Whitesnake as prominent childhood influences, KAAZE’s strong love for rock proves highly evident in the track, boasting an 80’s glam-rock arrangement rather than a typical Revealed Recordings release. However, this isn’t the first time his love for 80’s music has been on display. A proven winning formula, his previous collaboration with Nino Lucarelli; ‘I Should Have Walked Away’; was a rework of Cutting Crew‘s 1986 hit-single; ‘(I Just) Died In Your Arms’, which has amassed more than 7 million streams.
