Otto Knows – About You

Otto Knows has shifted from prog to pop with his latest, radiant new single ‘About You’. After a much needed hiatus, the 30-year-old has delivered once more with another in a recent flurry of releases, making ‘About You’ his 3rd release of 2019. The single follows the successes of ‘One In A Million’ and ‘Something For Nothing’ alongside fellow swede Klahr. 

These recent releases have seen Otto leave his distinctive progressive house sound at the door in pursuit of a refreshing new sonic aesthetic. His extended break appears to have reinvigorated him creatively as he flaunts his versatility with this new approach. Taking his music slightly down-tempo, ‘About You’ epitomises his melodic genius, providing soothing vocals upon a subtle, funk-driven baseline for a relaxing finish.

Following the arrival of this knew track, Otto has also recently announced that he will perform as part of the Avicii Tribute Concert in Stockholm at the beginning of December; in honour of his lifelong friend. He will lineup alongside the likes of Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, all in effort to raise awareness of mental health.
