The Swedish House Mafia comeback tour continues to chug along, with the Scandinavian trio bringing their iconic EDM anthems to the glitz and glamour of Singapore last weekend. Performing a special 45-minute set at the Asian event, Steve Angello took the familiar spot in the centre of the three podiums, with Sebastian Ingrosso to his right on drum pads, and Axwell – as always – addressing the crowd via the mic.

Following a similar pattern to the rest of their shows since their comeback in Stockholm earlier this year, the group opened Singapore Grand Prix with It Get Better’, a new Swedish House Mafia track which is still awaiting an official release, and finished with the iconic ‘Save The World’. There was no space in the set for ‘Underneath It All’, which has strongly been rumoured as the first official Swedish House Mafia single in over 7 years, with the trio releasing their farewell track ‘Don’t You Worry Child‘ in summer 2012.

With all three members taking to Instagram to show off photos with Formula One legends, including former McLaren World Champion Mika Hakkinen, and reigning superstar Lewis Hamilton, it was German driver Sebastian Vettel who emerged victorious in this race, though three stars from Sweden perhaps left the biggest impression on Singapore for the weekend. Following the recent end to their 2019 European tour at Creamfields, SHM are now tipped to head round the States on a stadium tour next year, as we await their next move.
