Creamfields, which took place recently in Daresbury, UK, was definitely an unforgettable event for electronic music lovers from all around the world. They were able to experience a weekend full of madness and all kinds of surprises, one of them being an exclusive b2b performance delivered by TESTPILOT and i_o. The artists joined their forces for an outstanding performance on Saturday night.

Joel Zimmerman, better known as deadmau5, likes to deliver some quality, old fashioned techno sounds from time to time under his alias TESTPILOT. He uses it as an creative outlet, for all of the darker and underground sounds that he makes. People have been loving it just as much as his main project, so earlier this year he dropped a BBC Radio 1 Essential mix under this alias. Keeping himself very busy lately with all the projects and music, he also made a Cube 3.0 UK debut at Cremfields this year, which you can check out over here.

In the video we can see the spectacular b2b between TESTPILOT and the USA-based electronic music producer Garret Lockhart, also known for his alias ‘i_o’. The young artist has been around for quite some time now, gathering recognition from some of the biggest labels in the industry, such as Spinnin’, DOORN Records and mau5trap, which got him labelled as as “a name to watch going forward”.

While listening to the 14 minute video we can enjoy the groovy techno sounds, nicely mixed by the two artists. Bringing us some raw sounds, combined with melodic synths and thumping bass, it’s a really exceptional experience which leaves you wanting for more, and as we can hear the crowd was definitely loving it!

You can stream deadmau5’s full Cube 3.0 set here and hopefully we will get some more of his TESTPILOT alias action soon.
