4B X Purowuan – Atomic Bomb

What a year it’s been for Robert McKeon Jr. – known by stage name 4B. At only 26 years old, he has conquered the music industry in a short amount of time and has made his way to the top with all the heavyweights of his genre, and has even collaborated with some of them. If his music is good enough for the likes of Skrillex, Diplo and DJ Snake (who chose 4B to kick off his new imprint Premiere Classe with massive track ‘Whistle’ with Teez) it’s good enough to win truly anyone over and that’s exactly what this talented whirlwind of energy is setting out to do. With the announcement of forthcoming EP ‘Explosive’, he is here to share with the world his second single from it.

Together with PuroWuan – a producer based in Los Angeles who is making big moves of his own and has previously remixed 4B and Aazar’s ‘Pop Dat’ – the pair have created an ‘Atomic Bomb’ of a track. Aptly named, this one packs a huge punch from the get go. Featuring wobbling sounds that set the dark tone almost instantaneously, this track takes the listener into an apocalyptic, dystopian world with this track as the suitable soundtrack. Pulling themes from trap and hardstyle throughout, the two different sounds are blended to create a lovechild of aggressive beats to bang your head to and will no doubt shake up your world (and whatever room you decide to pump it through on speakers).

Once again, 4B proves to us just exactly how and why he has climbed right to the top so quickly and easily. A force to be reckoned with, he is one producer to keep an eye on as his career goes from strength to strength coming up to the release of his ‘Explosive’ EP.
