Saturday saw Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike perform during an action-packed AMF 2019 as they returned to the summit of the DJ Mag Top 100.

2019 has been a busy year for the Belgian duo with a handful of new releases and main stage appearances winning over the EDM contingent to stroll home with the prestigious award. It is the second time the pair have topped the rankings with their last victory back in 2015. With the award came the opportunity to perform at the renowned Amsterdam Music Festival and provided a platform for them to deliver energy with some of their illustrious anthems, past and present.

Besides the many massive big-room tunes in their arsenal however, the pair opted to open with a working title; a fitting way to introduce such a momentous occasion. They proceeded to bring the energy with ‘The Hum‘ before they brought an exuberant Timmy Trumpet onto the stage to drop their collaboration ‘The Rain Dance’. 2019 releases such as ‘Instagram’ and ‘Untz Untz’ also followed deserving their play-time having already accumulated over 100 million streams on Spotify combined.

With the AMF party in full flow, no anthems seemed to impact the crowd as much as ‘Tremor’, ‘Mammoth’ or ‘Crowd Control’ with over 40,000 fans going crazy to the tunes that have become staples of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s sets. Although short-but-sweet, the Number 1 duo topped of a brilliant 30-minute set with their rendition of the a-ha classic ‘Take on Me’ with Ummet Ozcan.

Amsterdam continued to own the night into the early hours with later performances from the likes of Alesso, W&W b2b Timmy Trumpet and more. Be sure to relive the madness of the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike set from AMF 2019 below:
