With Disclosure regarded as pioneers of a new musical movement which saw a shift away from the EDM glory years of 2009-2012, UK brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence (aka Disclosure) released perhaps their most iconic track of all back on this day in 2012. Roping in the vocals of a then-unknown singer by the name of Sam Smith, ‘Latch‘ featured the boys’ classic deep-house inspired sound and was later featured on their huge 2013 album ‘Settle’.

Going on to produce hits like ‘White Noise’, ‘You & Me’, and ‘Help Me Lose My Mind’, Disclosure have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Joe Goddard, Jessie Ware, London Grammar, Gregory Porter, and The Weeknd, with the latter featuring on ‘Nocturnal’ from their second studio album ‘Caracal’ in 2015.

Meanwhile, Sam Smith has gone on to work with Calvin Harris on ‘Promises‘ and was even chosen to perform the lead title track of 2015 James Bond movie Spectre in the shape of ‘Writing’s On The Wall’. Grab a slice of this nostalgia pie below and relive the moment Sam teamed up with Disclosure on ‘Latch’:
