Home Music Tech House Example announces 2020 UK & Ireland Tour

After bursting into primetime consciousness a full decade ago, multi-faceted UK talent Example was undoubtedly one of 2010’s biggest global stars. Delivering a massive album on the iconic Ministry of Sound label, the London-born rapper/singer was instrumental in the rise of ‘EDM’ as a genre, when his huge dance hits such as ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ and ‘Kickstarts’ found themselves on heavy rotation via UK radio play. Now, a full decade later, Example is bringing “all the bangers” back to his fans, with a forthcoming UK & Ireland tour in 2020.

Having worked with a huge range of the world’s biggest DJs, including Calvin Harris (‘We’ll Be Coming Back’ and ‘Time Machine’), Chase & Status (‘Sicknote‘), Laidback Luke (‘Natural Disaster‘), Don Diablo (‘Hooligans‘), Skream (‘Shot Yourself In The Foot Again’), Nero (‘Stay Awake‘), and Michael Woods/Offaiah (‘Changed The Way You Kiss Me’), Example has been working on numerous projects in recent years, with his most recent mixtape, ‘Bangers & Ballads‘, released to critical acclaim in summer 2018.

Aiming to bring pure nostalgia back to fans at the upcoming tour, Example added:

“We’ll be playing all the hits. People used to say ‘Example was the best gig of my teenage years’ but now I want people to say on this tour, “That was the best gig of my 20s, or 30s, or 40s… Or even 80s! But I suppose if you’re in your 80s and you’re coming to one of my gigs, you can probably have free tickets.”

Performing at numerous locations including Bournemouth, Cardiff, Liverpool, and Manchester, Example will round the tour off in March at London‘s O2 Forum in Kentish Town.
