Jack Back has stepped up to rework one of the summers most vibrant and in-demand tracks in  Barbatuques’ “Baianá”.

Earlier this year we saw Pablo Fierro drop his very own infectious edit of “Baianá”, escalating the 2005 original to new heights. It was so irresistible, that it became the most Shazamed track on the white isle of Ibiza this summer and has already reached a crazy 2 million streams on Spotify. If that wasn’t enough, the potential of “Baianá” has just cranked up another notch as underground maestro Jack Back has unleashed a sensational version of his own.

Premiered during David Guetta’s BBC Radio 1 set at in Ibiza, the Frenchman has manipulated the Brazillian body percussion sample and injected copious amounts of groove and energy to drive home an even more powerful version that Fierro’s. He has even gone as far as to include a typical club edit of the remix, adding the most exquisite of touches that make Jack Back such a distinctive live performer.

The past year has been a particularly memorable one for Jack Back, debuting at Toolroom and Blue Marlin Ibiza topping it off the season with a Hï Ibiza residency. He also found his way to tops spots in UK Club and Beatport charts, releasing on established labels along the way, including the likes of Spinnin’, Defected and Pete Tong’s imprint FFRR.

Be sure to check out the mammoth Jack Back remix of Barbatuques’ “Baianá”  to find out for yourself as to why it has been such an addictive record this summer. Expect to hear it on repeat as we head into the later stages of a remarkable 2019.
