Marshmello & Kane Brown deliver spectacular performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been a leading show on the American daytime television format. Everyone in the world knows who she is, and since 2003 every celebrity and musician you can think of has taken to her studio to chat and to also perform their music live. In a recent episode of the iconic show, it was time for masked mogul Marshmello and American country singer/songwriter Kane Brown to take to the worldwide known stage.
Their collaboration ‘One Thing Right‘ – released in June – was a huge success and sold over 116,000 copies in America to date so far. The track ended up hitting the number 1 spot on the Australia Dance Chart and number 4 on the Billboard Hot country Songs chart. Being described by Brown as “kind of the opposite” of ‘Happier‘ (the Marshmello collaboration with Bastille) the song shows off Marshmello’s versatility as an artist expertly.
Now the pair are elevating the song even further, taking it to The Ellen Degeneres show. Introducing them, Ellen DeGeneres called ‘One Thing Right’ one of the biggest tracks of the year. Coming out to thunderous applause from the enthusiastic crowd, an accompanying band waited for them whilst a clip was shown of them driving into the back of the studio and then making their way onto the stage with Kane Brown singing and Marshmello on guitar. One thing the pair did expertly was making sure their performance was completely unique and gave a spin on the typical live television show performance.
