Home Uncategorized Swedish House Mafia’s ‘It Gets Better’ finally got officially registered at ASCAP

ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) has finally registered the highly anticipated song  ‘It Gets Better’ that Swedish House Mafia has been using as their intro for their shows since May. Appearing on such an acknowledged source gives us some hope to expect the super DJ-trio to finally come out with a release in the near future.

In the meantime, we should appreciate that at least we can gain some new information about the track ‘It Gets Better’; the detailed list of writers and publishers. Besides the obvious Axwell, Steve Angello and Ingrosso collaboration, also other familiar names appear such as Magnus The Magnus, Richard Zastenker, who have been part of the team in the past. You can listen to the unofficial track below if you have never heard it before.

You may ask: but does this finally mean that Swedish House Mafia is going to release a new track since their last studio album “Until now” back in 2012? Let’s admit – it is a fair question and we wish we could give you a straight answer… But still, no official release date has been set yet and it has been two months now since ‘Underneath It All’ and ‘It Gets Better’ appeared on the audio recognizing app, Shazam. Fans are impatiently waiting to add the new hits on their music streaming playlist ever since their reunion in May, but it seems like the Swedish team is in no rush to provide us with the fresh hits yet. However, now that they have recently ended their come-back tour at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, we will stay optimistic that the new releases are on their way.
