Tiësto’s hugely successful radio show Club Life has been providing a mix of huge tunes since it’s first broadcast in April of 2007. Named Club Nouveau for the first five episodes until it was changed to the iconic name we all know and love now, the episodes focus on popular hits suited to the time of airing and also a variety of genres for the millions of listeners to enjoy. In addition to this, Tiësto partnered with SiriusXM to deliver a 24/7, ad-free music channel featuring other DJs also, which has now switched to Electric Area. Over the years, there has been a multitude of special episodes, and the latest one adds to that.
Club Life 653 is dedicated to 2019’s biggest summer hits. Named the ‘Hits Of Summer Special’, it is the perfect send off to the season and transports listeners straight back to the height of summer as we begin to enter the colder months towards the end of the year. Tiësto has truly outdone himself with this episode and doesn’t miss a beat at all as the episode plays through the perfectly and carefully selected tracklist. Starting off with the track we have heard at every festival stage across the summer, ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ by Meduza featuring GOODBOYS starts it all off with a bang before Tiësto’s voiceover welcomes the listener to the episode. Next up is Loud Luxury’s remix of ‘I Don’t Care’ by huge pop sensations Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber and then loveable duo Camelphat and Jake Bugg’s ‘Be Someone’. You can also expect to find artists like Fisher, Martin Garrix, Don Diablo and more in the mix.
Tiësto has absolutely smashed it with this mix and just proves again that he has his finger on the ball at all times. The episode is available to listen to below, and check out the tracklist here.
