Tiësto amazes crowd with Mexican Grand Prix performance

The trend of EDM stars performing at the Grand Prix continued on Sunday, when Dutch maestro Tiësto was invited to the Mexican edition of the Formula 1 event. Following Swedish House Mafia‘s set in Singapore, Tiësto became the latest dance titan to grace the sporting event, and even uploaded a video to his Instagram account of him performing his giant hit ‘BOOM!’ to the gigantic audience.

The race itself was won by British champion Lewis Hamilton, but that didn’t stop Tiësto from uploading photos of himself hanging in the pit lane with fellow Dutchman, and F1 driver, Max Verstappen, who the DJ and producer labelled his ‘favourite driver’. The performance itself followed a huge weekend in Amsterdam the week before for Tiësto, who played at AMF, and also delivered a special b2b alongside David Guetta and Martin Garrix during the ADE celebrations.
