W&W Timmy Trumpet

Timmy Trumpet and W&W come together for explosive AMF 2019 set

At the 2017 version of AMF, they introduced a groundbreaking, completely unique concept that would elevate their event to huge new heights and that was II=I. II=I (or ‘Two Is One’) is the B2B concept which brings two massive superstar DJs – duos included – together for a once in a lifetime performance that can’t be seen anywhere else other than at AMF. The first two artists to kick off this tradition were none other than Armin Van Buuren and Hardwell and the two former No.1 DJs of the world combined their talents for an unforgettable set. In 2018, David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike followed in their footsteps and blew the crowd away. Those two different pairings are hard to follow, but this years artists Timmy Trumpet and W&W made for an epic team.

We all know that Timmy Trumpet and W&W are both energetic on their own, with Timmy commanding every inch of the stages he performs on and W&W coming through with the anthems, but fusing them together created a true fireball of energy. The ‘Two Is One’ voice over was repeated over and over to start with, before revealing Timmy and W&W blasting onto the stage and instantly dropping a banger in the form of NWYR’s ‘Dragon’. Not wasting any time, they then went into more hardstyle based tracks and brought the pumping energy whilst the trumpet was out in full force. The II=I stars managed to strike the perfect balance in maintaining a fair amount of tracks from each discography and their blending abilities made this set one of the standouts of this year’s edition. The setlist also featured tracks from the likes of FisherDavid Guetta and even Snow Patrol and exciting IDs were also sprinkled into the mix.

The full video of the set is available to watch below on W&W’s YouTube channel, and the setlist can be viewed here.
