Producer and vocalist duo BONNIE X CLYDE – made up of Daniel Litman and Paige Lopynski – are a truly unique duo that have been on the scene since 2015 and are masters of creating dancefloor friendly tracks that can also evoke the right amount of emotion. When they released their debut EP ‘WANTED’, the track ‘Bass Jam’ was at the top of the charts for seven weeks straight and accumulated 10 million Spotify streams. Speaking of Spotify, the popular streaming service, along with Apple Music, identified the pair as ones to watch and their record deal with Ultra Records earlier this year solidifies that. With all this being said, they have revealed their latest single.

Unleashing an enchanting ‘Curse’, this one is dark and sultry and seems to take a lot of inspiration from the duo’s background of rock music and it works extremely well. The guitar riffs paired with the erratic basslines make for a track with a moody tone and create something different and unique. Lopynski’s vocals shine as brightly as ever and help the track climb to new heights. Following on from BONNIE X CLYDE’s other release in September titled ‘Bad Behaviour’, this track is equal parts danceable and emotive.

Inspiration for this song sonically came from our background of loving hip hop, rock, and electronic music. Heavy guitar riffs, lots of bass, lots of vocal chops/vocal manipulation. It was also inspired by the thriller movies we love to watch. The song is a journey of becoming aware of the energy you want to have around you. It’s dark but uplifting, and intense but sultry.” – BONNIE X CLYDE on the inspiration behind ‘Curse’

Currently, the duo are on their ‘Bad Behaviour’ tour which will take them up to the end of the year, with more dates to be confirmed soon.
