As a Philadelphia Eagles fan, Diplo will be eager to continue his work as he has been selected to curate the music for ESPN’s Monday Night Football. Throughout the rest of the season he will play a crucial part in driving the emotion into ESPN’s pre-match build up, selecting tracks that epitomise the tensions of the current season.

The VP of Marketing at ESPN, Emeka Ofodil, boasted the acquisition of the LA-based producer, describing Diplo as “a force to be reckoned with” adding that “he’d bring great energy to our Ready for Football campaign”.

This week, Diplo carefully selected Konata Small’s “Ruckus” to set the atmosphere in the lead up to the fixture between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. The American DJ felt it was the perfect track to represent where both teams are with regards to the NFL seasons and the NFC West standings.

It will be interesting to see what he selects next week as ESPN are delegated different ball-game coverage. As we head further into the season, keep an eye on ESPN’s Monday Night Football for more illustrious and, perhaps even, exclusive picks made by Diplo himself. Check out “Ruckus”, his choice this week below!
