We all remember when Swedish House Mafia played two Magnificence tracks in their iconic reunion set at Ultra Miami back in 2018, and the dynamic Dutch duo have been in the limelight ever since. Releasing on leading labels like Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS, Axwell’s Axtone and Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, they’ve made a lasting impression on the big leagues. Their style represents a new age of house music, something unique and unlike anything heard before and the same can be said for Russian star Shapov.

Previously part of duo Hard Rock Sofa, Shapov has branched out to solo endeavours and it’s paid off massively. Collaborating with Armin van Buuren on the ‘Trilogy’ EP, he’s cemented his position as a force to be reckoned with. Now, Magnificence and Shapov have combined their talents to create an exciting new track.

‘Unboring The Future’ was formed with Peugeot in Amsterdam at a writers camp last October, and has been chosen as the soundtrack of the car manufacturer’s latest huge advertisement campaign, meaning the track will reach entirely new audiences and will draw in a huge group of new fans. Proving how big their global reach is, this is huge news for both artists and Peugeot couldn’t have chosen a more fitting track.

The track itself sounds dark yet futuristic and sleek simultaneously, and is a true testament as to just how flexible their signature sounds are. Bound to become an instant hit with their fanbases, it will also no doubt impress some of the biggest producers in the game and garner support via sets at huge festivals and gigs (and they’re clearly no strangers to that).

Out on Epic247 Recordings – in partnership with Universal Music Publishing, Amp.Amsterdam, Havas Lemz and Peugeot Netherlands – this is the mind blowing brainchild of Magnificence and Shapov, ‘Unboring The Future’.
